These sheets are organic. No scary chemicals were used in the growing of the cotton, fabric production, or in the inks used to print the beautiful designs :)
WHY ARE PRINTED SHEETS SO DAMN EXPENSIVE?
A lot of love goes into the production of this product. The bulk of the price is a reflection of the cost of purchasing the fabric (at AUD$85/Sheet).
Other costs include:
- designer commission
- time spent sourcing prints
- pre-washing the fabric
- time spent: cutting, sewing & ironing
- thread, haberdashery and the machinery purchase and upkeep
I pay myself less than $10/hr to create these beautiful sheets; it’s a labour of love!
Note: ‘shells - blush’ print is made from organic cotton knit fabric. It is a mid-heavy weight fabric making it perfect for cooler months. Other sheets are an organic cotton sateen.
