WHY ARE PRINTED SHEETS SO DAMN EXPENSIVE?
A lot of love goes into the production of this product. The bulk of the price is a reflection of the cost of purchasing the fabric! Unlike the organic cotton sheets, the fabric purchased is a fraction of the cost and thus a more affordable alternative (while still getting a cute print)!
Other costs include:
- time spent sourcing prints
- pre-washing the fabric
- time spent: cutting, sewing & ironing
- thread, haberdashery and the machinery purchase and upkeep
I pay myself less than $10/hr to create these beautiful sheets; it’s a labour of love!
